| Will he get hauled up before the RFL for this?
[urlhttp://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/KR-coach-labels-Alibert-display-embarrassing/story-18709509-detail/story.html#axzz2QVoISozm[/url
Some great quotes in there. I partiicularly enjoyed the irony of this one:
"I don't want this to be a whinge-fest about the referee and touch judge whose performances were farcical."

Morgan was angered by Thaler's "substandard" performance in Rovers' Super League defeat by Huddersfield on Monday and said he did not want the official to referee his side's games again.
Morgan claimed Huddersfield were allowed to get away with "blue murder" and said Thaler needed to return to a lower grade and "spend some time learning the rules".
"It is absolutely disgraceful every time we get him," the Australian said.
Morgan will now face a hearing on April 22 after being charged with breaching the RFL's operational rules.
The RFL have the power to impose a wide range of sanctions, although a fine is most likely, if Morgan is found guilty.

| The embarrassing thing about this is not the display of the officials, Mr Sandycock.

| I had just got back on the M62 when he came on t'wireless. I cringed with embarrassment. Even John Kear called it right last night on Sky Sports. The coach should focus on what he can control and let the fans whine about match officials.
Perhaps if Sandercock learned how to coach a team to defend better then he wouldn't need to bleat on about refs. I hope he gets fined if it teaches him to keep his gob shut after another defeat. He's setting an excuse culture that will spread throughout the team.

Not sure i agree. Not an excuse, he didnt use it as an excuse, he noted that the rfl should be embarrassed by the performances of their officials. Didnt anywhere say thats the reason we lost? When questioned about the points, quite rightly pointed out they were 8pts up, then they get a penalty with us having ball in hand, not a single person hudds player knew or suggested there was an infringement but terry did.
The embarrasment was the knowledge of the rules, the new advantage rule is advantage until tackled or error, upon which it goes back to the feed, there is no time limit on it, so why after a hudds knock on, with no tackled rovers player, do hudds get the scrum?
At the end of the day, he spends all week training his patched up team, to go out there and attempt to perform at the home of one of the best sides in the comp, for shoddy refereeing to cost us field position and through our own poor defence and their good attacking as a combo points. Which costs you any chance at the game. Hudds were without doubt the better side, they always looked likely to score more points, its just the timing and lack of consistancy. Allowing Brough and Robinson to ref the game is always fun. Same as Tomkins etc.

You are entitled to your opinion. My opinion is that he did use his view that the ref was poor as an excuse. He talked about a 4 metre forward pass. I saw none at the game (behind this sticks) but watched the tries last night and he was talking out of his 'arris.
The advantage decision was laughable, but by bringing it up in his press conference, he once again attempts to deflect blame for the defeat onto someone else, thus ignoring the basic facts that we cannot tackle. We are currently averaging 31 points a game conceded, worse than last season's pathetic 27 ppg against. Even the Class of 2007 (with our 16 players from the National Leagues) kept the average lower than that.

| Seeing it as a fan of the victorious side i cannot remember anything Alibert did or didn't do that could or did affect the outcome of the game, yes he missed plenty of offside for both teams and was pretty consistent in penalising both for the same offences, ie hand sin the tackle and obstruction. Not really sure what the guy is on about here as there was nothing remotely controversial during the game.
It seems to me like this is purely sour grapes from a defeated coach who would rather take the obvious route of blaming anyone but his coaching team or players.

I remember the last time a Rover coach got into trouble for criticising a ref, it was against Huddersfield as well, but this time Thaler. I recall that Giants had been offside at almost every play the ball for about 30 mins and he never pulled one, the first he did pull was against us !!
The penalty count that day was also lop sided. De Javu or what.

Are you another of zod's alter ego's?
I've watched the tries on SL full time and can't see this 4 metre forward pass he's talking about. The final pass from dobson for your try on the hooter looked pretty suspect though
