| Like the Hull game we need to quickly put the Saints game to bed and respond like we did before and let Salford and Wigan feel the backlash.
Powells interview indicated there will be some rotation at least. Be interesting to see the line up.
A few players for me look to be scratching for form who were our key performers early season.
I’d be interested to see something like this and give a handful of players a chance:
Jowitt Walmsley Rourke Pratt Tchimambe/johnstone Trueman Lino Faatili Smith Mckmeeken Nikotemo Storton Cozza
Russell Rodwell Vagana Scott
If these loan signings keep coming in we could end up facing strongest Salford team for a while but we need to do a thoroughly professional job.

| We beat a much stronger Salford side, no amount of loan signings are going to even match the quality of the team we hammered. I think he could rest both half backs and bring in Russell and move Jowitt. Scott will move to centre, one or both props rested, Pitts on the subs bench with Nikotemo coming in along with the young prop.

I think we would benefit more from continuity in the spine to be honest. Certainly at 1,6,7 at least. Hood looks to be carrying something for over a month now imo. He’s not taking line on close tomorrow the try line and doesn’t look fit to me. When Smith came on we looked markedly faster and more threatening in that 25 minute spell where we almost matched saints. We look better him starting too imo. I think we can afford Russell at 9 this one. I’m not into resting the props after 2 weeks off either. Just a few edge forwards imo. I can definitely see Scott in the centre.

| Hall went off injured so it's likely Scott will play. Myers has done well, but it's touch and go to give him a shot to give his confidence a boost or take him away from the spot light after a few errors Friday night.

| Rodwell could be back and I wonder just how fit Storton is after his injury.

| I would appear LW was at fault according to the Saints coach because he dipped into the tackle and showed no sign of being injured. The fact that the Saints player left the ground appears not to matter or that he clearly leads with his shoulder because LW was not seriously injured showed only minimal contact. I expect Delaney will have to receive further training because it must be so embarrassing that despite his best efforts to inflict damage LW a winger unable to defend himself survived. We need to go on some acting classes because honesty is deemed a mitigating circumstance.

Myers was injured too. He was limping very early on.His mistakes came from not turning or reacting quick enough. If still injured we should rest him but if not it's worth building his confidence

| Myers was clearly not right and that could have contributed but I think it’s more an area of development for him.
Myers also was late to the same ball vs Leeds (may have been Hudds) where he didn’t get there quick enough and Jowitt saved his blushes. Unfortunately Jowitt wasn’t there to clean up this time.
Whether it’s Myers positioning he needs to work on I don’t know but watching back I felt he was ball watching a bit maybe thinking it was heading out.
Shows promise does the guy but needs to work on a few things yet. Better to be highlighted early on so the coaching team can work on it.
I would like to see Tchimambe get a shot this week if TJ isn’t fit (which I hope he is). Salford really struggle with speed and Tchimambe has that in spades.
Like Hull we need to do a thorough and professional job on Salford.

| I'd be happy to see Tchamambe play, but Matty Russell's back in contention too so I imagine Powell will go with him. Hopefully Ky's ready to slot in for Fa'atili who looked like he had a knock. And Scott for Hall. We won't put 80 on Salford, but a comfortable win with no injuries would do me.

Although Russell is solid I don’t think he will be here next season so I think we would get more out of it long term seeing Tchimambe make his SL debut. If it was other opposition though then I would make more of a case for Russell. Hope Faatili is fine, I think he just got a knock but appeared fine. Did he pass his HIA? Salford really struggled with EseEse so having Faatili would see some damage In the middle. As you say can’t see Hall playing. Hope it isn’t too bad as he’s been very good this year. I don’t think it will be far off 80 and after last week just like Hull the club and players will be wanting a response.

| There are now questions if it is too dangerous for the Salford players to carry on. If they do cease which would be a shame but being Wakefield centric we don’t lose either way, if they expunge their scores or for those games outstanding or award two points and a 48 points difference we gain.
