Gaskell out for weeks what we going to do .Were are our attacking options coming from we got to score a try Sorry for micky take.Will just go and support the shirts , way past who is playing for us .4 games in and want this season over with

I don't like singling players out but I'm so relieved Gaskell is out. The bloke has talent but he just doesn't seem to fit and not just with us, he never really has anywhere.

Don't know who he will run with in the halves but I can't but think any combo will be better.

It is clear that Proctor is not match fit and has been struggling with the pace of SL so far. Hopefully it is just a settling in thing, but certainly not surprised to see him missing.
Good to see Bowes back in there, and Hall likely to come back into the team.

Not clear at all! Not sure who you are watching, Proctor has been far and away one of the more committed players.

I am not questioning his commitment, but he has been struggling. Watch the games back and see how often when we are in possession that he is away from the play out of position. Its not a criticism just an observation.

Completely agree. It was my main concern pre season. He just isn’t a pivotal player and is more suited to Centre imo where he can not worry about trying to create opportunities.

I don’t fault his commitment but he just isn’t a pivot and that’s based on the handful of games last season we struggled to score and this seasons handful of games.

No shame in that but we need to move forward and allow Smith/Lino to settle and get an understanding. When Gaskell returns he can challenge for centre and be cover.

Don't think it really matters who plays, but hey ho......

Agreed. Years of poor recruitment and no ambition have left us with a squad that would find it difficult to break into the championship top four.
