Salford are currently throwing big bucks around and it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest if they tried to entice all 4 of those players over to the sewage farm.

Bobby Goulding has been dropping hints on twitter that HH is on his way to Salford. Hope hes wrong.

He has hinted at Hansen but he has also hinted a current English International 2nd row. I reckon its Westwood who is not up to his high standard this season.

If Salford's good Dr decides to spend well over the cap and stay within the rules in doing so, then we will be in trouble in keeping them all.
As said, hopefully they are all already signed up and it is just the announcement that's needed.

Add to that, Gelling, Tomkins L, Powell S, Lloyd, Burke, Murphy, Spencer and I was under the impression Prescott was until 2014.

Wane recently mentioned Gelling has another year, Burke signed a new contract recently too.

Westwood shouldn't get picked in the starting squad for England on current form, but with McBanana in charge he will.

To lose Hansen to the NRL would be tough to take but you could understand his reasons. If we lose him to Salford then more fool him. They may pay him a fortune but they'll not be challenging for trophies until long after he's retired because in the salary cap age it's impossible to buy success overnight. He would also be turning his back on a testimonial at Wigan and a bumper payout. We'll wait and see on that one but I'll be surprised if it is the case.

As for the other out of contract lads I hope we're well down the line with the majority. I think a question mark hangs over Prescott but I'd be willing to offer him a short term deal but guys like Crosby and Tuson should be getting tied to long term deals asap.

Apparently the England backrower we're linked with is Gareth Hock again, we're supposedly trying to hi-jack his move to Parra. This is according to the RL Mole on twitter so don't know how true it is.

Heard from a couple of people that we are definitely talking to H but he ideally wants to stay at Wigan, depending on a decent pay rise. He is from Salford though and if we're willing to throw money at him you never know...

Anyone know when the contract of Burke is up to?

Regarding Hock, I could not care less as long as Wigan get the big fee for him.
