One of my bugbears a few years ago before I started buying a season ticket, that still hasn’t been addressed, is the fact that there has never been a cash turnstile at the home stands. How many potential new supporters are put off especially In inclement weather, by first having to queue up at the kiosk (sometimes upto quarter of an hour), more than not in the rain, and then queue again at the relevant stand. Yet nearly all other grounds visited over the years have these cash turnstiles.
Is it really too much to ask for, as in most other businesses the customer is always right!!

Its a question I asked a few seasons ago CL. In a world of digital media. I still dont see why the device in your pocket can't be used. The reason being that costs and queing in the rain gains more profit for the club. I understand that from the Clubs point of view, but as you say to bring new supporters in looks very unprofressional. Many are still set in their ways and will say thats what they all do.. Always been an issue with people not looking outside the box IMO of course.

So how do we deal with it then? Without telling me to email the club..

There was a cash turnstile for Widnes fans in the 1895 cup game. It can be done....but the LSV are winkers.

I've emailed the club many a time and they simply pass it on. Usually comes back with the LSV...blah blah blah.

It's bizarre Atomic. Just have one cash turnstile open for Leigh fans, if it's a big queue, then the supporters will try the ticket office. Not rocket science is it ?

Its hard as the club do have to abide by the LSV rules. But the LSV also has to remember what Leigh do for them.

arent we selling them in the alehouse any more.Could do with looking after the supporters we have as well namely st holders

Is the fact that a fan has to get a ticket a genuine inconvenience to the point of not attending ? , Seriously ?

There are many more ways the club should be looking at to improve what is our primary source of income , and more importantly our future income

I’m sure we also had cash turnstiles for away teams in our super league season as well. So what’s the problem? Why don’t the club tell us why, as I’ve never seen any explanation from them. I will confidently predict massive queues at 6.25 at the ticket office on Sunday especially as it’s an all to pay match.
It’s all very well people saying turn up in good time, but the fair weather fan is not like that, and will not be encouraged to return if he sees the ticket office queues I have seen several times this season.
