I was waivering on re-joining LISA now that the feelgood factor is back at the club - one thing that might convince me to do so would be if there were associated offers like, say 10% off club merchandise like when I previously joined LISA - anyone else think this may be a good idea??? Would it convince anyone else to join LISA?

Its not just about when the clubs in trouble its all about making sure it doesn't happen again. The more members we have the players wages will always be secure.

Sorry, my last answer was a bit curt. What I meant was that by joining LISA it is to show your commitment and help to Leigh Centurions, I feel that the discount would take monies away so it's like robbing Peter to pay Paul.
I would rather the club have the backing of LISA and still make on the merchandise. Im sure the members don't join just for any perks that may come along.

With a 10% discount merchandise would probably be to order and cash up front, Lisa should get other benefits imo eg a players night etc

Agree 100%. I have often said that LISA members shouldn't get a discount on away travel. We don't join LISA to get part of the money back - it's crazy.

Think almost every LISA member would agree.

Come on join only a 5 quid a month more if you like less if you can't afford that.


Every penny goes to the club to make sure our club prospers.

Would be better to have 10% off certain stores in Leigh, or other offers, costs the club nowt, more business stays locally...

There are a few who offer discount for Lisa members but more would be great need a good sales person to pop around town and try and get more

wouldn’t it be in the interest of Lisa and the club, for the Lisa money to be spent on a Sales/Marketing person, promoting both Lisa and the club around the local towns to both individuals and businesses (although this bit may now conflict with what RP is doing?).

Money spent on a player can often only lasts a season, new supporters can last for life.
