Hopefully Gardner should be back for Sunday but I think we're missing not having Parker on the pitch. Does anyone have a update on Rob's progress with his injury?

Hope Im wrong but we may not see Rob on the pitch again, (he's doing a grand job in his new role and I don't think he can do both at the same time)


We do need someone of his ilk on the pitch and even though we have a good set of forwards, we need a "leader of the pack"

He has a back injury, which Paul described as being slow to clear. Lack of match fitness becomes an issue, with each passing week, too.

There was a very small mention in the MEN last night saying that Parker may be back to fitness for the play offs.

Im not sure he'll play again TBH, The excellent job he is now doing is a full time job and it would be impossible to do if he had to train and play at the same time.
Yes he is missed on the pitch but he is doing a far more important job off it.



ps I know that most off our players also have a full-time job but still manage to train also, but in the coming weeks and months Rob should commit 100% to the sponsorship and business deals he's working on.

I don't think it's the Business Manager role that's keeping Rob off the pitch at the moment. He has a back injury.

That's true, but bad back or not his first priority is to present the club in its best light (and an excellent job he's doing by the way) for the push to SL.
It would be brilliant to have a fully fit RP playing in the team AND being business manager but alas I don't think 100% commitment can be given to both.
