Wigan have some really good young lads coming through , and TB said last night they have offered us 2 on season long loans, and maybe 3 D-Rs ,hope one is Jack Hughes, he is aclassy lad, maybe younger Tomkins to, i think with these lads maybe a young Wire D-R and a couple more signings of our own and we can put upa decent show.

Keith Freer was very Optimistic at last nights Fans Forum , predicting a top 2 finish

As long as there's only 4 in the 18 man squad then it probably doesn't count, bearing in mind the chopping and changing we had last year with McCarthy etc.

Well to put it another way as long as there are only 4 on our books at any one time then it doesn't matter, it would just be a case of a player being taken off the 'quota' whenever he's recalled by his own club, which is presumably what happened McCarthy replaced Mitchell(?) at short notice before the Barrow away game last year.

Regarding last nights comments that Wigan will be supporting Leigh with duals etc. Anyone who has an i pod, look on the rugby league section & the headlines are Wigan have launched a partership with South Wales Scorpions on a duel reg basis & couls incorporate North Wales Crusaders Kris Radlinski & Andy Coley will oversee the partership

Also why would we want young Tomkins, we have 4 hookers signed (although all can play other pivot roles)... it's a mobile pack!

Whilst Dom plays for them he is subject to abuse from me, the majority of the time! ha ha unless he pulls on a leigh shirt but i wont hold my breath on that one!

The only thing I want from Wigan is the bus to Leigh. First step in us becomming a feeder club to Wigan. They know how good our amateur youth set up is in Leigh (East and Rangers).
