Widnes did well to spot Ellis and Riddy and restrict them. Would say the difference was out wide with Maden, Evans, Nanyn and Deano outstanding I reckon.

May have come out with a few unneccesary comments on twitter that if youre the same person Leythdave, i do take back.

Ellis is an outstanding kicker of the ball. Also give praise to your number 11 with the grey headguard, can't remember his name. Troubled us all afternoon.

You looked a much better side with RHP on the pitch. We were hanging on for far too long and came as no suprise you took the lead when he came back on.

I thought Ellis and Riddy had poor kicking days today. If they had been on song then you would have known. All credit to Widnes they took their chances well and caused a few heart flutters, they never really gave up. Good game to watch a shame Mr Robys reffing was so up and down for both sides. I think a lot of that was due to the pressure that Eliis and Riddy were under each time - was very disappointed that we didn't target I'Anson half as much.

He'd have been even worse if we put him under an ounce of pressure on the last tackle - let's face it, you've no other options for kicking in general play.

I thought Widnes played some good stuff.

Great game thought the ref was same for both sides and the result was always in the balance.

Good game overall ,don't know why Evans' try was deemed held up when in fact he slid over the line .Couldn't watch near the end when Widnes where near our line but good defence put paid to the attack phew .I reckon they will trouble Fev and hopefully get a win or two
