Widnes are beyond crap, how they managed to put 70 past york is beyond me, they are a sh*** team, with a sh*** coach. I hope every team in the SL puts 100 past them.

Just poor Widnes.

Widnes have got the basis of a decent team and have some great young players like Leigh coming through im sure over the next 3 years they will become a good team in SL great support too

That's a bit ott, Tom. Yes, we are currently vastly superior to Widnes, on the pitch.

However, I for one definitely want them to do well in SL, then the 'powers that be' will have to say "Hey, the Championship can nurture good clubs, and a promoted club =#FF0000IS good for SL."

So, good luck to 'em next season, and well done to their sporting fans, who have had the decency to come onto this board, so far tonight.

Well done leigh. Was gutted at our 2nd half performance again today. Yes we may be in superleague but it still hurt losing tonight. Felt a bit embarrased. Our team needs a total revamp for superleague. Not too sure about betts, cullen & to'c either. Anyway 100% deserved your win. Good luck in rest of the comp and i predict you will do the double this year. Far superior to all the other teams. Hopefully see you in sl 2015

yer well done Leigh, glad you beat them lot as we all want to beat them before they go to SL to stick two fingers up to the system but like others say I would not want Widnes to really struggle in SL as it would give the Fat Controller ammunition to keep us and you out.
I would put a word a caution on the rest of the season though - watch out for Fev, they were good against us although I know we are bad this season (you will tonk us next week), Fev were back to what they were last season, when they played at your place they had a night off.
Its a Fev v Leigh year methinks.
