With miners losing there last five matches they know they will have to improve if they want to take the local bragging rights against an inform east side who only need one more point to clinch the minor premiership. am I reading right on Twitter...12 - 4 at HT..the Miners come back and take the game at 18 - 22

Easts just can't seem to beat the Miners in recent years.

Miners were bloody awesome and dented the Red and Blacks title hopes.
This must rank as one of the DARK SIDES finest hours coming back from 18-4 down to completly dominate the final quarter playing open attractive rugby.
East much larger pack visibly wilted under the tremendous powerful tackling of the much smaller Miners pack.
Winston will be a proud coach tonight and rightly so still undefeated agianst Leigh East in the top flight.
