Hopefully we will take a few hundred there even with our current form.
the team should have had a good rest and hopefully learnt the basics in training this week.

i know that myself and my mate will be travelling up from london on monday hoping for a win.
if not another huge waist of money but as most of you will still support them through these patchy days.
we are not as bad as when we played under ian lucas.

We should win at Batley - they are in an awful run at the moment. Yet, if we ever had a jinx team, Batley are it!

yes batley are crap but they showed us a thing or two at LSV.

I agree lovely little rubbish stadium if that makes sense.

good opportunity to get some confidence in a very fragile team.

Wouldn't normally bother - especially on a BH, but there is something about the Batley club and its it's ground (inc. the slope) that I really like. If I wanted any other club than ours to succeed at this level it would be them - don't know why.

And whats the odds despite there current state they give us a good snotting

four of us having a nice weekend there, going on sunday, booked an hotel, game on monday, lots and lots of beer to be drunk

Great club - probably spent more improving their ground than many SL clubs and where else would you see a Chairman manning the outside beer pumps to satisfy us Leythers

now that was a game with all our fans.

another great away game was the lancashire cup v salford away.we lost but mickey round went the full length of the field to a raptuous leigh sound.the one and only time ive seen the away end at the willows totally packed with leythers.

then theres warrington away in the challenge cup,once again we got beat but over 4000 leythers packed into away end at wilderspool.

I couldn't agree more. It's an away fixture I always enjoy going to. Along with the other posters on here, there are 7 of us lot going so hopefully it will be a good day. I think we will win too.

Have to miss this year , will be at the willows watching the ' battle of Leyth ' give my regards to Kevin [ chairman at the bar
