i didnt go there to watch the game.... but watching the extended highlights back was typical briers...as he comes into the last few years of his career he is playing better than he ever has done.
loads of brilliant passes into gaps.... great kicking... massive drop goal... 'briers incercept'... master class in how to play 6.
i don't see a more creative player with ball in hand in SL.

was absolutely brilliant - what wasn't shown in the tv highlights was his general positional kicking which was awesome - he was probably the difference between the two evenly matched sides IMO
Tony Smith in his post-match press talk was waxing lyrical about Briers and quite rightly so... 
good contributions from the rest with Riley doing ok at FB and Solomona making a big impact when coming on - thought Myler had a 'quiet' game tho' |

The best thing Lord Smith did for Lee Briers career was to drop him from the team from day 1 - it sent a message to Briers and he has had 2 stunning years. Such an intelligent rugby league player - sees things that others don't
Myler - it looked as though he took a blow to the head early on, maybe slowed him down. His defending has improved 1000%
