Forgive me if this has been covered before, but through-out all this turmoil and talk of more points deduction etc.. shouldnt the RFL be held accountable for some of this mess ? Last time we were in administration there were other bidders out there who wanted the club, who must have been deemed by the RFL less fit and proper than Mark Green, ie Mrs K & Mr Lamb to name but two... The RFL did their homework and chose whats turned out to be the least equipped to own our beloved club and now we are in this mess again... Seems the RFL should apologising to us for their poor judgement not looking for ways to punish us. or am i missing something ?

But thats exactly my point, wasnt it their job to investigate and make sure the successful candidate had all the right tools for the job not just be able to talk the talk....

Its a bit like interviewing for a job or getting married isn't it? Sometimes everything seems great and then it goes wrong later

The RFL had nothing to do with the failed Mrs K bid the administrator turned it down it never got to the RFL. As for Lamb he's a chancer was told to provide proof of founds couldn't do it.

Which is why I personally hope neither of them gets it this time around. Both full of $hit, just in a different sense. Need someone a lot more sensible.

I'd be interested to hear who the other parties are apart from the heavily rumoured Lawn, Lamb & Koukash.

How many of you on here have little white lies on their CV, or have embellished facts in an interview..............I rest my case. The RFL did all they could feasibly do.

No many smart business men want to get involved in Rugby League as it is a poor investment with no bottom line. Much as the Green ownership turned sour it was more than likely the best bid on the table. He kept the team full time invested probably a couple of million and the team/coaches failed to deliver. How is this Green fault? He ran out of money or refused to invest more as he realised the dream was no longer a reality with his money running out.

Green would I’m sure admit to some mistakes during his time with us. The whole Lowes/Ferres bust up and the pots on money wasted on players is a big one.
