Agreed. Deacon was a fantastic kicker in past years, but he's been poor lately. We'd have been better off sending Jeffries or Sykes.

I suspect Deacon has been chosen as he is "decent" at in game and goal kicking. Jeffries is the better of the in-game kickers though, or at least he has been this season.

If Deacs managed to beat the likes of Brough in this, I'll be 100% amazed.

Just hope the forwards lay a platform for him to perform.
