A barren decade in the cup competition for us but still we’ve had some fantastic times because its not just about winning the final - its about taking part in the competition.

The 2005 challenge cup semi’s was memorable seeing that French guy who played so heroically against us that day resulting in a man of the match award. Who was that anyone?

2005 was also tragic for that final lost to Hull FC.

However I’m sure the game many agree with me on here was the best challenge cup game was the 2003 semi v St Helens. The whole occasion for me was splendid and probably started the love affair of me anticipating matches between us and them for life.

What are your Rhinos challenge cup memories for this decade?

Sebastien raguin he was a traffic warden but then went on to be full time with the catalan dragons and went from back-row to centre.

It was Sebastian Raguin I think.

I always remember playing Workington Away on a bloody freezing Sunday afternoon, top day that was.

That’s the one cheers - gone on well at Catalan hasn’t he?


This is what the cup is about! I’m hoping we draw Featherstone competively next season. Hopefully in the cup probably not in the league

Unfortunately the game I remember the most is the lost cup final against Hull Fc not just for the game and heartbreak of losing but the journey to and from was a bit of a pain too!!

It was probably the best game that I have ever seen for the range of emotions I went through!

Unlike some others on here I want to see Leeds win the CC again just as much as the SL, It is dissapointing not to have done it for so long but there is always next year.

Don't get me wrong mate i'd love to win the CC again especially this year as it was the anniversary etc but given a straight choice i'd pick the SL title everytime.
