Well games do not come much tougher then facing the saints. It is a long time since we have played them at home and hopefully fans from both sides will turn out for this Fridays game. They will have quite a few of there players unavailable either injured or banned but will still pose a massive challenge for us to compete with them. I would normally make a prediction for the game but i just hope we can give them one hell of a freight and see were it takes us. Wil the saints go marching on or will the panthers score a massive surprise.

Not seen how the bookies have this, most outside of Halifax will expect the Panthers to get a right mauling, but ‘ it’s a funny old game’ and the bounce of the ball with any luck will at least allow fax a good showing, and give us an idea where we are in the overall picture, if by some freakish happening we go back to Superleague status.
I dream of an upset on Friday, and will stay up to the wee small hours to at least listen if I can’t find a live stream.

We are bringing about 1200 fans over so should be a good attendance for a friday night.

That is good to hear the more the merrier we have sold just over 2500 tickets so far which means there could be about 4000 there which would be a very good turn out for us on a Friday night.

Not really looking at this game as a win/lose scenario as in all probability it’s a loss . Just going to enjoy it has an event in the same vein as the heady days of thrum hall when the Australian national team played us a couple of times. Hopefully we’ll give a good account for ourselves and remain relatively healthy.

Saints seem to have turned the corner since their slump after the WCC so I’m expecting them to win. Just hope our lads can give a really good account of themselves on the tv.

Certainly need the drummer and Barmy Army to be vocal throughout if we’re to have a chance of keeping close to them.

Class by Fax tonight. If we could defend like that in every game against Championship opposition we wouldnt lose many games. I also thought we created plenty of space against Saints and our attack looked decent with just the final pass letting us down. I don't rate Aaron Moore as a ref and he did nothing to change my mind tonight, it felt at times we were playing to a different set of rules for each team, just totally inconsistant with his decisions.

Great performance by Fax tonight. Going into the game I wasn’t expecting a win, hoping that we kept them within 30 points and came through unscathed. Big blow losing Keyes tonight - shoulder ligament injury could be long term. Just hope the efforts tonight don’t cost us next week against Batley!!
