| Well done Mike and TJ making the 24 man squad.
Surprised to see the likes Bateman and Williams in there. Based on form Williams cannot lace Connora boots and niether can Bateman lace Batches boots!

Totally agree.I'm sure that Mike will play, not so sure about TJ unfortunately. Thing in his favour is that he's been there and done it. Fingers crossed.

| Having watched all the games in the NRL and Super League finals series, I would comment that the Kangaroos are a good reflection of talent and current form going into the Ashes... Good experience and bags of young and hungry guys. The England team is none of that ... Form and youthful passion has been ignored for past loyalty and form that can only be seen through a magnified rear view mirror. There is a world cup in Australia next year, and I would wager that neither the coach, nor his faithful old retainers will be there and the new coach will need to blood a barrowload of players in the most difficult environment on the rugby league planet.
I strongly believe that Wane has not only spoiled the anticipation of the upcoming ashes series, but has also ruined England's chances of even reaching the semi final of the next world cup.
There is so much young talent in the Super League, personally I would rather see the Robertsons, the Martins... Even putting Nsemba and Walters and Gannon and Cassell up against the Aussies on home soil, this is (imo) a huge missed opportunity.

| Pity that Max had a bit of a dip in form back end of the season otherwise I think he would have made the cut. Welsby coming back from injury didn't help either. Ne'er mind Max, your time will come.

I don’t think it will unfortunately Redcat. I think if Welsby didn’t play Brimson comes in who is a far superior player than Max. I love max for us, but test player he isn’t, he’s never taken it to that level like Johnstone and McMeeken have. Obviously Wane sees that too.
