Whoo whole can of worms opened here can't see it ending here to be honest and in hind sight there was a couple of the fc players that lost weight like mega quickly,feel sorry for Gleeson, fc making everyone think it was to do with his previous problems when now it comes to light it was all fc doing.

Forgetting the fact it is FC, this is really harmful to the whole sport. The RFL chose to allow players who had likely (admitted by the CEO of the said club) taken a banned substance to take to the field and play. Players on both sides could have been harmed by this and while an over reaction for the actual drug taken it just shows the RFL pick and choose.

I do not think Wakefield would have been offered the same leniency and at the time of the licences being chosen we may well have seen both Halifax and Widnes promoted in their place as a punishment for this. However as a desirable club with a facility worthy of Prem football I think favouritism has been shown here.

I am saying this as a fan of RL, the principals more than the actual drug being taken should have repercussions to the people involved. The players that are known to inside sport should be tested weekly reguardless of cost as this should be met by the Hull FC club. With wholesale changes at Hull FC I do not see a ban or points deduction as suitable and beneficial to the sport but a suspended punishment possibly a good idea.

It makes you think what would have happened if and i mean if they had beat us and we were at the bottom of the table and like in the old day we had been relegated,I bet they would have been a court case and heads would have rolled then bloody idiots

Is this really FCs fault (by that i mean this new part of the story as Obviously before it was)
What i mean is this - it was in Gleesons statement that a load of them were taking it and only he got caught because he was taking it on the day and not the night before or day before, this statement was given to the RFL who in turn did not pass said information over to the UKAD even though it states that yet are to be provided with all evidence and documention regarding the case.
Surely this is the RFLs fault?
The club i dont feel sorry for but i do for the players- as they were told by a professional setup that it was fine to take.

All in all its made our sport look a sham, reminds me of that bloodgate scandle in yawnion
