Reads like they'll keep the awards but in the record books it'll have a star next to it stating the championship was stripped. Certainly tarnishes it tho'

I was talking about the players keeping individual awards, rings etc.. the club has been stripped of the lot.

Could you see the RFL doing the same if this happened over here?

So, you think that the players are blameless in all this 'secondary' payments through seperate accounts. Wise up, the ones getting the money (and probably the ones who were not) new all about it, they didn't check their bank statements and wonder 'where's all that extra cash come from'

Depends, if it was us, Salford, Hudds, Wakey then yes, I could see them docking many points and even chucking clubs out of SL, I doubt whether all clubs would be treated the same though, look at Wigans deliberate scams to beat the cap when the RFL docked them points and then relented and even let them shift the cap around to get them off the hook.

The RFL are spineless when it comes to the 'big' clubs, not so the NRL.
