As much as I'd love to see Hull buy the MKM it doesn't make financial sense to do so, there's next to very little to be made from it and our owners don't seem the sort of people to make daft financial decisions.
Despite what some think, owning your own ground (or two individuals having a mortgage on it) isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be. Can be a financial millstone. One thing we have now though are owners who know what they’re doing, and more personal wealth than the owners of any other sporting club in the city. Pretty confident we’re in good hands going forward.
Guess this has now become an irrelevant question, at least in the short term.
City survive by the very skin of their teeth due to Luton blowing up.
You have to wonder what the owner's longer term intentions are with tigers. Still have a suspicion he may be looking to sell up and bail out. Financing a football championship club is fraught with problems, especially if there is little genuine prospect of PL promotion, it can quickly become a bottomless pit. Wouldn't be too surprised if the current owner was looking for a way out of here.
