Therefore then my pass (bought before December 08) should actually be reduced by 2.5% for next season (I'll have to buy it early to keep my seat). Those bought after the increase will then go back to the "normal" price, i.e. what I paid before December 08.

Can't see it myself, I think Hull Kingston Convicts is right, they'll pocket the 2.5%.

Only those moaning about the one off lump sum they had to find. I however haven't moaned about it, I know it's coming every year and find the money if I can, if not I do without like I did this year!!
