I know in the grand scheme of things at the moment it is not a factor however it must be quite a decent money spinner for the club. I would hope that in view of our new start we give a nod to our past by reverting to a traditional shirt of red, white and blue. I always thought that a blue shirt with a red and white V for a different variation would look good and is more recognisable that a two tone blue with gold trimmings.

There’s an old Wakefield Trinity shirt that hasn’t been replicated to my knowledge
It was white with a thin red & blue stripe in the shape of a ‘W’ with the tip of each upward line resting on the collar bone area of the shoulder and the V shapes stretching right down almost to the waist.

This is fairly similar

I liked the one someone updated of the 1992 shirt a few years ago as well.

I thought about the W but was not sure if it was something I had dreamt up.
We could have one with a W and a T between the two points so to avoid any problems with the Tiger Wood’s logo.

I was just going to comment that we stay clear of any of the awful British Coal era tat.

We all know deep down that this is the shirt that the majority of fans want to see returning

Nah, it's the old McEwans stuff that hurts your eyes. Saying that it's amazing what people can do by putting that design on a new shirt, but still bland mind.

I remember that shirt, Avenger. I've always regarded it as one of our worst designs. The stripes were a bit too thin imo.
