| Skybet have Trinity down to finish 13th next season. Whilst I don't think Trinity will trouble to top 8, I believe they will finish a little higher than what the RL paymasters believe.
Anyone got the predictions from other bookies?

| The official bookie of the RFL, William Hill, has us joint with Harlequins at 150/1 to win the regular season...

66s to win the Challenge Cup, 1/3 of the odds, so 22/1 to get to Wembley.

Having smashed them on NZ to win the 4 Nations at 9/2 and 7/2, I don't think I'll invest in Wakey this year!

| I think 150-1 is a bit of a short price for us or harliquins to win the league if i am honest, anyway it is atill worth a cheeky pound.

| The Bulls odds are the ones that jump out at me as being very short, given their form last season! I also wonder whether Salford's odds are short because of the new stadium development and therefore longer term confidence. Equally, depending on how things pan out up to the season start, could Castleford's odds get longer and Wakey's get shorter for the same reasons?

| Given our pathetic 2nd half of last season, our (on paper) weak rectuitment and unbalanced squad so far for next year I think we may as well be 1,150-1 for the league or the GF. Challenge Cup a different matter though - all we need is the luck of the draw like we had the other year and get "up for it" for a big game or 2 and then the semi final/final could be a real possiblity and at 22/1 for getting to Wembley then I think thats value.
I know we have the monkey on our back for beating a SL side in the Cup but that cannot go on forever and when we are in the mood we can beat anbody on a 1 off game, its stringing a few wins together over a few weeks that we normally struggle with.

| I think Kear should post those odds up in the dressing room and on the away coach. If ever there was an incentive to motivate the players to prove the so called "experts" wrong.
Salford have recruited reasonably well for the new season but I can't foresee a significant improvement in their fortunes. Cas and Catalans for my mind will improve little. Quins and Crusaders are teams I struggle to see bettering our coming season performance.
We are on a fresh start. We've kicked out/released a lot of what was wrong with the team last year. We have young, hungry albeit unproven talent to some degree. The hunger they have plus scholarships at such as Saints and Wigan will help us. Bring it on is what I say!
I will be pleased with a top eight place and think we can compete for that.

Your stadium obsessed, the odds will be based on who they see as having the the best players and to an extent last seasons results. On paper Cas and Salford have better squads than Wakefield. Also as has been pointed out WTWC collapse in the second half of last season will have had a bearing.

It was genuine speculation about it potentially effecting Salford's odds, which look a little short for me at the moment, nothing more....

To be honest apart from 4 teams the others odds for the league could be a short or a long as they like cos nobody else has got a look in. And luckily for you Leeds are One of the 4
