Would have really liked to go but am coming back up from a Wembley weekend on the Sunday and don't think the missus would be too happy with me getting home, dumping my stuff and going straight back out again.

Got this JD testimonial facebook page,
The final event of my testimonial, The farewell party has been moved to the Cats Bar at the Hearwell Stadium. Event hasn't change, curry feed race night DJ and kareoke still all ready to go. Its fitting to have my final event at the Hearwell stadium where for he past seven years has been my home. Cant think of a better... way to say goodbye to all those who have supported me than with a few drinks and alot of laughs. jd

I hope so too. He looked like a broken man at the end of Sundays game at Bradford. I really hope we can send him off on a high.
I will be there to give him my backing anyway, and I think it would be a poor show if lots of others didn't make the effort.
Forget the rest of the season, it's gone now this is your last chance to show JD how much he has been appreciated for what he has done for Wakefield Trinity. |

Career resurrected under JK, was playing wing and 'Club' skipper in 2006 when Monty was Captain, had a great season the year after and despite ageing a true role model in the shape of limited talent being supplemented by effort and commitment, especially after the neck injury he just has not, for me come up to the mark. I think it is right for him to go, I do not beleive he would figure in any other SL team anymore |
