Listening to Boots n All previewing the cup games this weekend looking for the 'likely upsets' naturally our name came up and after the discussion abot the Batley Hill being a big advantage for Batley, one of the pundits said that to make sure we progressed to the next game we had 'rested' players from the last game? Certainly news to me. Who are they talking about? In our position i thought we were going for every league point!?

Whilst I agree Eddie does hate us, he is using material prepared for him by the Sky production team and this wouldn't be the first time they've got stuff wrong (anyone notice Barry Mc last Friday saying how Dixon hadn't scored a try yet, to be corrected by Carney and they agreed he'd scored 1 try- wrong!). Most of the Sky team don't know as much about what's going on at clubs as we do...they ain't interested and particularly they ain't interested in us.

All in all, I'm fed up with Sky Sports presentation of our sport (not the coverage, just the presentation of it ).. The guys on Premier Sports and the guys that work on the Fox network covering the NRL are far superior, imo.

I've even gone off Stevo since he suggested DH merges us with Bradford.

Describing a club that is at the heart of its community and which was the inaugral winners of the Challenge Cup (in fact has won three more Challenge Cups than we have) as "nothing" is patronising in the extreme.

Given the place our club is in at the moment, it is embarrassing to look down our noses at anyone.

In relative financial terms a non SL club shouldn’t get within 50 points of a SL team given the financial clout SL clubs have, hence the term nothing. Used in a general sporting sense rather than the straw grasping derogatory sense you’ve tried to imply.

Anyway back to talking to people with an IQ higher than a duck. Use that as derogatory if you are looking for a bun fight
