For me Brown offers nothing as a captain and i think his play has suffered from it. He does not to appear to talk, shout or have any leadership qualitys. Like today, Griffin went mental at the players which is what i like to see. If Brown is our captain for a few more years then we are going downhill. Lead from the front kevin or dont bother!


P.S is it just me or if we had started the season as bad as we have finished we would be asking for Brown to get the sack? Overall this season could not have ended sooner for me, god knows how we finished 4th

Agreed Brown not up to the captains job not strong enough.

Nathan Brown in my opinion has taken us as far as he can. Yet again the season ends in a whimper.

LOD for Captain if fit, with Robinson as Deputy?

We might be better having a few like Wigan did last year, could be the better option, with our key men are forwards. e.g Robbo LOD etc

GOBBY , PASSIONATE, WANTS TO WIN and the responsibility would mature him as a player

Thing is no one said he wasn't good enough to be captain when we were top of the league, i dont think the captaincy is an issue ...whatever has happened has been a collective thing not an individual problem.

Thats why nobody has said anything (when we are winning games) - the character comes when the chips are down and we aren't winning games - that's the true test of a captains ability.

I've said quite a few things to friends about several players. But I totally dislike saying them on a forum - especially when said players not only read, but also write here!

The players themselves would have to admit that they do not cope well with adversity. Their heads drop too easily and there is no one there geeing them up. They can address that collectively or we need to get in someone who can fulfill the Sinfield/O'Loughlin role as a captain. It would be easier if they could address it collectively but as to how they will do it I don't know.

im sure nathan brown knows who to be captain better than us

its decided in pre season and clearly kev brown is the man they all look too otherwise he wouldnt of been picked, they have a leadership group and kev brown is the main man

david faiumu is 2nd in line to kev brown also

too quiet and is a moaner, not an encourager. However James Graham looks to be exactly the same and he's not too shabby!
