Now I don't know if this as been mentioned[properly as, been a tad busy well one chap told me of the story of salford wanting to rent our place but the real story is wilko wants out and his best option is to move to Leigh and rebrand both teams as one...much like what Branson wanted to do with London years ago....be very interesting now Millward as arrived?

[iA report this week claimed Salford might seek a groundshare with Championship club Leigh to ensure they meet minimum standards in time but Wilkinson insists that is wide of the mark.
Wilkinson said: "It is not something we would consider and I can assure you I have not spoken to anyone at Leigh. I don't think anyone at Leigh has spoken to anyone here either."
Wilkinson, who has been in charge at Salford for 27 years, sees the move from The Willows as vital to the club's future.
He said: "I'm proud of our ground but it is 108 years old. For a 108-year-old ground I don't think there is anything better in the UK but we need better.
"The new stadium is a legacy I would like to leave behind for Salford for generation after generation."[/i |
