Quote Dita's Slot Meter="Dita's Slot Meter"'Far bigger'.... how are you defining that?
More successful, no doubt, but bigger?... I'm struggling to see it.
You're a small village with a Warrington postcode... I'd personally have Leeds, Hull, and of course Wigan (the only genuinely big British RL club) above you lot in the 'bigger' stakes.'"
The ultimate barometer in size is success. And we leave your lot standing in that. Wigan are the biggest club, but we've been Champions 5 times more than Leeds, 10 times more than Hull and 13 times more than you. You've not been Champions since 1955 and have only won it a p*ss poor three times in your mediocre history.
It could be argued Widnes are a bigger club than you. At least they can say they've won a World Club Challenge and you don't have to be 75+ to remember them being Champions in this country.
You have a bigger population as a town, but we still pull in bigger crowds and take more to away games. You're so 'big' you lurk below Huddersfield on this list. https://www.seriousaboutrl.com/ranking- ... gue-37281/
Must be chilly in Warrington, living in our shadow all these years.

| Dita's Slot Meter just_browny: Dita's Slot Meter Wires71: Dita's Slot Meterjust_browny: Imagine the uproar on here if we had signed Waerea-Hargreaves (36), Michael McIlorum (37) and Danny Richardson.
Perhaps but I think we are pretty tolerant on here nowadays. There hasn't been much "uproar" over the underwhelming signings we did actually make for 2025. Just a collective "meh".
Personally, I'd have Waerea-Hargreaves over Zane Musgrove and Danny Richardson over Leyland and I think Tom Davies and Rhyse Martin were good signings, obviously unfortunate with the latter's injury.
I suspect Hull KR will end the regular season above us in the league and, as such, the proof of the pudding would be in the eating.
I agree Davies and Martin were decent signings; Martin would have improved our team both in goalkicking and resilience in the backrow.
Leyland is a far better player than Richardson. If he is hounded out from us (very possible), he will go on to have a successful career with whichever club improves his defensive technique and protects him a bit better.
So do you think that my point saying Hull KR have recruited well is reasonable? I hope you are right on Leyland.

| Dita's Slot MeterCokey: Pardon me if I'm on the wrong thread, but the Cats & Leeds game was absolutely dire.
You're not and it was!

Any opinion is reasonable, it's just a rugby forum isn't it. My opinion is that I think 37-year-old McIlorum is a downgrade on Matt Parcell, and Waerea-Hargreaves seems to give them less than they had before (Storton / George King). I think Davies is a good replacement for Hall on the wing; that's probably like for like in terms of quality. So while I think they will be in contention for the top places again, I don't think they have improved.

| Fair enough. Just you jumped on that post where I had suggested they recruited well as if you disagreed.
Following a similar analysis do you think we have improved with our 2025 recruitment?
