Darlow for me, he's been very solid for Wales. He's just played well in 2 internationals alongside James and Rodon and he of course has played alongside Ampadu many times for Wales now so he's not rusty. I actually think the lads will respond really well to Darlow too.
Watched a really interesting video on the Leeds squad under Farke last 2 years and it's looking like it's following the same pattern with a lack of rotation leading to burnout as it did last season...... and that's where Farke gets a lot of criticism.. I for one have backed him fully but his neck is on the line here... fingers crossed he's got it right. Does he have time to rotate at this stage??.... Ramazanni looks very rusty for example and he's a player who always needs lots of minutes to get the best out of him.. but can he take what would be a gamble or does playing the same squad lead to failure.... very very tough situation now and it's why we could have done with a nice points gap..
That was the solid, hard working display that we needed last night. Got to say we have some real grafters on the pitch this season, and that?s a big part of our success and hopefully promotion. Rodon was immense last night, a real leader, and I love his whole attitude to the game. Bogle again strong down the right and Darlow good on the basics apart from his little Meslier moment. What I like about this bunch is their team ethic and commitment. Solomon had his little meltdown at Q.P.R but Farke seems to have handled it well and there?s been no real dramas or big time Charlie?s out there. Come on lads, finish the job.
Surprised he brought James on who clearly wasn`t match fit and it could have finished him for the remaining games. Ramazani for me was the player to come on instead of James. Yes my Leeds player of the year choice in Rodon followed by Bogle both stood out along with Ampadu and Solomon. Darlow another good save despite the Meslier esq moment. Aaronson did ok in patches but still doesn`t do it for me I`m sorry to say. Burnley Sheffield draw and a win on Monday and we`re up but it is Leeds and I won`t count my chickens until the games are over!
