I have on going debate with some on here who suggest every game Leeds play its a cup final for every other team - that is tripe.

Leeds lost on Saturday because they didn't play well enough - even their own players suggested as much.

Fans cannot expect the team to play at the same level every game. This is a competitive league and all teams will lose games through the year. Last season was exceptional and Leeds were unlucky to come up against Leicester and Ipswich in the same season.

Farke is not an expansive coach but he does win far more games than he loses and fans can either accept that or not. Much is said of Piroe's inclusion yet Joseph has hardly covered himself in glory when included. At least Piroe does score some goals.

Scoring goals was highlighted at the start of the season as an issue - this team needs 10-15 scoring opportunities to convert a goal. This will continue until Farke changes the way the team develops its attacking strategy.

Much is made of 3 games in 6 days - given the strength and depth of the squad Farke has available Leeds should be better placed than any side in the Championship to cope with this.

Will they get automatic promotion - not unless they find a way to convert the chances on a more regular basis and find a way of changing the approach when away from home.

Aaronson was pretty poor last night, he did some ok stuff but he?s just not got it at 10? doesn?t have the composure or vision. 


Ramazanni won?t play Monday, Farke clearly doesn?t fancy him , he may play once the job is done perhaps? personally I think it?s a strange one as he?s a talented lad, but Farke doesn?t like all the tricks etc he does, he?s too much of a maverick for him I think 

I thought aaronson was OK last night. obviously he won't play 10 next year but he's doing a job, to say it's not really his position. 

Ramazani was more about him coming on last night instead of James than playing Monday Trebor.
Aaronson runs about a lot and made a couple of good runs one of which he should have scored.
Also made a couple of decent passes but falls off the tackle far too easily and at times it looks like the game is passing him by like an enthusiastic kid with little talent playing football in the playground.

Not long to go, and only one decision to be made really. Despite Piroe?s 9 or 10 games without a goal or assist, I really don?t see Bamford  starting today. Bamford won?t be happy, but he?d better make that flask up. Dan James is the only decision to make, and if he?s fit he starts, simple as that. If there?s any doubt, it would be better to hold him back for another week, but if they would risk him 3 days ago that seems unlikely. From James perspective, it would be great to add the ultimate individual accolade of Championship Player Of The Year to promotion, but if it means missing out on that to guarantee his long term health he might best reigning himself in for the time being.
