Why oh why have we let Ethan leave to a rival team. I thought we were making signings year on year to strengthen the squad. How letting Ethan go does this improve or give us more depth in the squad. Gutted by this. 

He spat is dummy out because he wasn't picked after his injury had cleared heading into the playoffs whilst his dad was over here. Not a good attitude that if you ask me. The club sets out policy standards for all to adhere to; Ethan is no different.

I liked the guy and his style of play but prospects best for all concerned 


Now we can go get Kai back

We are at full quota atm; however, I think we should ship Pene out to a new promoted club which would give us extra cash on the cap with the new bonus rule. Do i think Kai will come back? Probably not. I'm sure Lammy is on it to get the squad he needs to challenge once again for some silverware. UTL.

The recruitment so far in this
close season does not reflect the ambition to strengthen the squad year on year
unless the announcement of some top quality signings is being held back. Ethan
was an important member of the team with potential for development into an
outstanding player.

Unfortunately, Ethan's poor attitude broke the philosophy of the club, and wouldn't be tolerated. Lammy has brought in  26 year old PNG international 2nd rower Jacob Alick-Wiencke. I agree that we are a couple more signings short, and I'm sure Lammy has his finger on the pulse.

the quota had risen from 7 to 10 for next season.

Pangai Jr, who is reported to be with a French sixth tier RU club while he
finds a club, would make an excellent addition following Ethan’s departure and
go some way to achieving the ambition within the five year plan to have a stronger
squad year on year.
