Do you mean which England players have their contracts topped up by the RFL?
There seems to be no criteria or logic to who is selected and personally I don’t agree with it. From memory (could have some wrong here) I believe it’s Kallum Watkins, Jonny Lomax, James Roby, Jon Bateman.
As for McGillivary, perhaps age counts against him, he’ll be 31 soon into the 2019 season. Ryan Hall will be a rarity that he is wanted by the NRL/RU post 30 and the RFL might pick those players who have more years left in them and not past the NRL/RU interest point.
Maybe that’s played a part in Hall’s departure now that this particular stage of his career.
