sounds fairly enthusiastic from Saints to make it a success if we have sold over 1,000 tickets in advance for the game.
they have been on sale for a few weeks now, there isnt really much to complain about if you leave it to the day before the game and they have sold out. All away clubs send back unsold tickets a couple of days before the game anyway - so in effect, this is no different to the standard policy.
you could do what I have done, ordered them in advance from Salford and get them from the ground on the day.
I called in on Saints on Wednesday when I didn't have the cash as I was buying 11 tickets and was told I would be able to get tickets up until 2pm today. No mention of how many tickets had been sold.
The point of the post is...if tickets were selling well...why did they not phone up Salford who could have been down to Knowsley road in 30 minutes.
Some people will not go to the match now because of the hassle and cost.
